The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 18, 2003 Raymond J. Benoit, 85 of Prescott, was born August 26, 1917 in Leominster, Mass. He died Monday, April 14 at the Veterans Hospital in Prescott. Raymond served in the Army from 1942 to 1946. He and wife Gertrude moved to Phoenix in 1958 where he worked at GE/Honeywell as an accountant until retirement. They moved to Prescott in 1983, and celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2002. Visitation: 2-4 and Rosary at 7pm Monday, April 21 at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home 303 S. Cortez in Prescott. Funeral Mass: 10am Tuesday April 22 at Sacred Heart Church 150 Fluery, Prescott. Burial: 2:30 at St. Francis Cemetery, 5005 E. Oak St. in Phoenix. Raymond is survived by his wife Gertrude, daughters, Celine Benoit of Oklahoma, Paulette (Bob) Christian of Sun City, Michelle (Art) Anderson of Scottsdale; brothers, Roland Benoit of Fitchburg, MA and Paul Benoit of Leominster, MA.
