GEHRMAN, Ruth Elizabeth

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 18, 2003 Ruth Elizabeth Gehrman, retired teacher, passed away April 13, 2003, at the age of 88. She was born July 29, 1914, in Central City, Nebraska to Bryant and Emma Howe. Mrs. Gehrman graduated from Nebraska Weslayan University with a BA in Education. She was a member of P.E.O. and the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Gehrman is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duane Chester Gehrman and her daughter, Dorothy Lee Gehrman. She is survived by her son, Douglas Bryant Gehrman and his wife, Christine: grandchildren, Paul Bryant Gehrman, Steven Nelson Gehrman and Julie Elizabeth Mallory; as well as one great-grandchild, David Michael Mallory. A memorial service will be held in Houston on Wednesday, April 16th, 2003. A memorial service to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona will be announced at a later date.
