George Ralph Gardner, age 66 passed away June 6, 2003 Mesa, AZ. He was born July 21, 1936 in Lakeside and lived in Northern Arizona most of his life.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, June 12th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Holbrook, AZ. A viewing was also held June 11th at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.

George Ralph Gardner, 64 [66], died June 6, 2003 in Mesa.
He was born July 21, 1937 [1936] in Lakeside and lived in Northern Arizona most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie; eight children; and 20 grandchildren. George was a music teacher in several high schools in Arizona and at Northland Pioneer College, he will be missed dearly for what he brought to his students and the communities in which he served. He loved the Hawaiian Islands and made many trips with groups of people from Northern Arizona sharing the spirit of Aloha. Last year George and Marie completed an 18-month LDS mission to Tonga where he taught music in the schools.
A memorial service was held Thursday, June 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Holbrook.
Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
