EGAN, Edward Stephen

Mass for Edward Stephen Egan, 84, who was an engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad Co. before retiring 17 years ago, will be 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas. Mr. Egan, 222 E. Indianola, came here in 1972 from Chicago and died Oct. 7, 1980, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sadie; children, Eileen Dalton, Edward J. of Naperville, Illinois, and James of Hickory Hill, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Eileen Marie Dalton of Bartlett, Ill., Irene Heenan and Ana Johns, both of Justice, Ill.; and eight grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today in Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Chapel, 4800 E. Indian School. Interment St. James Cemetery, Sagbridge, Illinois.
