NASSAR, Edmund Gorges

Edmund Gorges Nassar, 71, of Mesa, AZ passed away on Nov. 20, 2002. Born in Amyoun, Lebanon on Feb. 11, 1931, he moved to Arizona 21 years ago from Spokane, WA. He earned a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and was a retired Civil Engineer, having been with the United States Geological Survey for 32 years. He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. He is the beloved husband of Salwa J.; father of Roseanna James of Bellevue, WA; Khalil of North Bend, WA; brother of Yvonne Kahouly of Seattle, WA; Naim of Denver, CO; Fouad of Amyoun, Lebanon; and grandfather of Anna Marie, Jessica, and Alexandra James; and Jacob, Joseph and Jennah Rose Nassar. Trisagion Service will be held Fri., Nov. 22, 2002, with visitation at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4530 E. Gold Dust, Phoenix, AZ 85028. Funeral Service will be held on Sat., Nov. 23, 2002, at the Church. Family suggests contributions to the church. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
