Lynn W. Nees, 84, died November 19, 2002, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born July 25, 1918, at Douglas, North Dakota, a son of Elzoo & Della Mae Nees. In 1930 he moved to Montana where he spent his early years.
In 1936, he worked for his brother, a trucking contractor during construction of the Fort Peck Dam in Montana. On December 11, 1940, he married Vivian Bilyeu at Forsyth, Montana. He was an overseas veteran of World War II, serving in the Medical Corps. In 1948 he moved to Wolf Point, Montana, operating a beverage distributorship. He also owned the Big Sky Motel, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Wolf Point First Presbyterian Church, serving as an Elder and Deacon and was a charter member of the Wolf Point Elks Lodge. In 1991 he moved to Mesa, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife Vivian, one daughter Judy Lynn Seeley, son-in-law Roger Seeley, of Gilbert, Arizona, one son Grant Nees, of Tempe, Arizona, and two grandsons Kirk Seeley, of McAllen, Texas, and Bret Seeley, of Mesa, Arizona.
Memorial Services will be held at Sunland Village East, Mesa Verde Room, 2615 S. Farnsworth Drive, Mesa, Arizona, on Saturday, November 23, 2002. Memorial contributions will be sent to the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Association.
