WALKER, Gordon

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona February 10, 2010 Our father, Gordon Walker, born Aug. 12, 1919, died on Feb. 9, 2010, at his daughter's home in Victorville, Calif. Dad served in WWII both in Europe and in the Pacific. He married our mother on Dec. 17, 1948, and they enjoyed over 50 years of happy marriage before Mom died in March of 2001. Our father was a good man who led a good life. He leaves behind three children who loved him dearly: Eileen of Victorville, Calif.; James of Visalia, Calif.; and Joseph of Prescott, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a loving daughter-in-law, Jean; and a great son-in-law, Robert. A celebration of his life will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at 1820 Oaklawn Drive. Rest in peace, Dad. You have earned it. Information provided by survivors.
