HAZELTON, Ruth Marie

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 12, 2010 Ruth Marie Hazelton, 80, of Mesa and formerly of Buckeye died Jan. 31, 2010. Mrs. Hazelton was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Duluth, Minn., to William and Effie Thrash. She married Luther "Red" Hazelton and the couple lived in Kearny and Winkelman most of their lives. She is survived by three children, Coye, Terry and Patrick; two brothers, Bill Thrash and Jim Thrash; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye. A gathering will follow at La Placita Café, 424 E. Monroe Ave. in Buckeye.
