West Valley View, Avondale, AZ Feb. 12, 2010 Tammy Sue Garcia Ramirez, 44, of Goodyear died from cancer Feb. 7, 2010, at the Butterfly Center in Scottsdale. She was born Jan. 22, 1966, in Safford to Lupe and Arnold Garcia. Her family moved to the West Valley when she was a baby. She graduated from Agua Fria Union High School in 1984. She was the office manager at Chapman Automotive Group. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by one son, Josh; her parents, Lupe and Arnold Garcia; and one brother, Christopher Garcia. Services will be at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. She was born January 22, 1966 in Safford, AZ to Lupe and Arnold Garcia, and the family moved over to the west valley while she was still a baby. Tammy was a 1984 graduate of Agua Fria High School. She was a fan of any and all Arizona sports teams. She loved the ocean and she made a yearly trip to San Diego. She was the office manager at Chapman Automotive Group. She did beadwork and made jewelry. She fought a 4 year battle with cancer. But her most important achievement was her son Josh. Tammy was passionate about and fiercely protective of her son. Tammy is survived by her son Josh Ramirez, her parents Lupe and Arnold Garcia, brother Christopher Garcia, Uncle Robert Benavidez, grandmother Connie Garcia and many, many other uncles and aunts and cousins. Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 11:15AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 539 E. La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear, AZ.
