BURZYNSKI, Virginia M.

Virginia M. (Sanocki) Burzynski, 59, resident of Phoenix, AZ was the sixth child of Stanley and Stella Sanocki. Virginia was born on February 28, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised in Michigan with her six siblings: Joe, Leo, Irene, Babe, Lillian, and Evelyn. She married and started a family, and in the early 70's moved to Arizona where she raised her four children. Family has always been the focus of her attention. Virginia always wanted the best for her children and no sacrifice was too great. She spent her life working hard to raise her children and helping others. Virginia had a very warm heart and treated friends like family. On November 20, 2002, she accepted God's invitation to join her loved ones in heaven. She is survived by her children: Michael, Karen, Philip, Linda, and her sisters, Lillian and Irene. She will always be a beacon of light and hope guiding her children and everyone else whom she touched through life. There will be a Mass in her honor on Friday, November 29th at 2:30 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church located at 4715 N. Central Ave. Virginia made regular donations to St. Jude Shrine and Maryknoll. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201-1896 or to Maryknoll, P.O. Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302. Published in the Arizona Republic on 11/23/2002.
