PAGE, Ruby Laura

Ruby Laura (Bolstridge) Page, 77, May 26, 1926 - June 16, 2003. Ruby was born in Portage Lake, Maine to Wallace and Edith (Clark) Bolstridge, and is the sixth child of thirteen children. She attended the Ricker Classical Institute in Houlton, Maine. Ruby served in WWII in the WAC medical corps. She married William Wesley Page in 1945, and during their 58 year marriage, Bill and Ruby had eight children - four girls and four boys. She was an active member of the Starlight Park Baptist Church, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Arizona Republican Party, and the Concerned Women for America. Ruby and Bill moved from Maine to Phoenix in 1960, where Ruby worked for the Samaritan Health Services for 20 years, retiring in 1982. Preceded in death by one son, Ruby is survived by her husband, four daughters and three sons, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great- grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, June 20, 2003, at the Starlight Park Baptist Church, 7901 West Osborn Road, Phoenix, AZ 85033, and burial with full military honors at the Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
