SCHULTE, Edmund E., Sr.

Dr. Edmund E. Schulte, Sr., 88, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2002 at his residence in Mesa, AZ. 

Dr. Schulte practiced optometry for 40 years in Port Huron, Michigan. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ahwatukee, Knights of Columbus and was past-president of the Lion's Club. A golf enthusiast, Dr Schulte was a member of the Black River Country Club. 

Funeral mass will be Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Saint Bridget's Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Rd. in Mesa, AZ. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Schulte. Survivors include his children, Deneen Coolman, Gail Howe, Joan (David) Schieman and Edmund E. (Sharon) Schulte, Jr. Sisters, Marge Sanders and Betty Dompier; 12 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren. 

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or your local Hospice.
