HAMMOND, Kelly Jason

Kelly Jason Hammond, age 19 of Tempe died Nov.22, 2002. 

A native of Los Angeles and an area resident for 6 yrs, he attended Tempe Accelerated High School. Kelly loved basketball and played football from age 8. Kelly had a great sense of humor that made him the life of any gathering of family or friends. He was a friend to all and the owner of a wonderful laugh. 

Survivors include: father, Kenneth Hammond, mother and step-father, Ramon and Floria Morgan; 5 brothers: Kenneth, Jr., Christopher, Kevin and Anthony Hammond, Ramon Morgan, II; 4 sisters: Ramica and Brezelle Morgan, Kenisha Hammond, Rachel Morgan; grandparents: Annie Brown, Elouise Smith, Bobbi Stocks and Syl Morgan-Smith. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. Dec. 2, 2002, at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. A Memorial service will held in the Chapel of the Mortuary on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Universal Memorial Center (602) 252-6011.
