Florence H. Fisher-Roybal, "When the Roll is Called up Yonder, I'll be there !" Florence H. Fisher-Roybal, age 81 of Phoenix died on Nov. 20, 2002. Her life's story began on Jan. 11, 1921 in Muldrow, OK. She was the eighth of thirteen children. Her parents moved to Phoenix when she was five years old. Florence united with the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Mesa in 1950. She later united with the Church of God In Christ and was very active on a district and state level. Florence was a LPN by profession and worked at several area hospitals including Good Samaritan. Her memory is forever in the hearts of her five daughters; Raydean King, Sandra Grubbs, Genevieve Culver, Darry Flores and Gail Guyton. Two sons; Cornell, Jr. and Larry Fisher. One sister; Bertha Brown all of Phoenix, Az. Her legacy lives in 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren. Mother Roybal will repose in quiet solitude on Friday evening, Nov. 29 in the Chapel of Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. The Service of Triumph will be Celebrated on Saturday Morning, 10:30 a.m. from the Emanuel Church of God In Christ, 1537 W. Buckeye Rd. Her earthly remains will be interred at East Resthaven Park Cemetery. The family selected the services of Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. (602) 252-6011.
