"Millie" Bower, 71, of Casa Grande died April 17, 2003 in Casa Grande. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral there will follow at 11:30, with Pastor Roger Worley Jr. officiating. Mrs. Bower was born July 11, 1931 in Watertown, S.D., to Walter and Evelyn Hof. She was a Kmart Restaurant manager before retirement. She loved to grow flowers, had a large vegetable garden and really had a green thumb. She loved animals of all kinds. She was kind hearted and devoted to her family. She loved all types of crafts, crocheting, beading and she owned an Indian jewelry shop for a while. She passed her sense of humor on to her children. She loved movies that were fun and family oriented, especially Disney. She was known for her strength even when things seemed bad. She was a role model for friends and family. Survivors include four daughters, Dusty L. Motz of Tucson, Benita K. Stiver of Junction City, Kan., Tracey M. Stiver of Casa Grande and Karen S. Tadina of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sons, Robert W. Bower Jr. and William W. Bower of Casa Grande; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W.
