Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona John Lopez Monarrez, age 76, born Oct. 20, 1933 in Florence, AZ to Modest and Valentina Monarrez, passed away Jan. 17, 2010 in Globe, AZ. John is survived by his daughters Linda Nelson, Barbara and Rosita Monarrez all of Phoenix, AZ, his brother Modesto Monarrez of Globe, AZ and his granddaughter Lauryn Nelson of Phoenix, AZ. The date of the services will be announced at a later date. ~~~~~~~~~~~ A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 11:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe. After cremation, his ashes will be buried in Old Globe Cemetery.
