FINAL RITES HELD FOR TWO VETERANS
Final rites were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Pfc. Abran J. Molina, Wickenburg soldier who died June 9, 1945, while serving with the Army of Occupation in Germany. Services had originally been scheduled for Saturday, but the train bearing the body here was delayed in a storm. The local American Legion post conducted the military funeral held at St. Anthony's church and the burial in Wickenburg cemetery.
Later Sunday afternoon the post also conducted military rites for George A. Blodgett, World War I veteran who passed away December 9 at Community Hospital here. He left no known survivors.

GEORGE ALLEN BLODGETT TO BE BURIED SATURDAY
George Allen Blodgett, age 58, native of the Verde Valley and former resident of Wenden, who passed away at Community Hospital December 9 will be given a military funeral by the local American Legion post. All efforts to locate survivors were in vain, it was said by Legion officials. Mr Blodgett was a veteran of World War I in which he served in the 40th Division. Burial will take place Saturday in Wickenburg Cemetery.
