DUNN, James Walter


James Walter Dunn passed away on November 30, 2002. Jim was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., June 24, 1923. Jim served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the 66th 'anther Division. He retired as a Major. Jim then went to the University of Pittsburgh where he was active in thespian endeavors. He went on to Pitt Law School. After law school, he was a practicing family and municipal lawyer for 38 years. While in Pittsburgh, he was the long time solicitor for the town of McCandless and attorney for Richland and Findaly townships. Jim retired to Sun Lakes in 1988. While in Sun Lakes, he was very active with the Sun Lakes Players and with the Men's Golf League. Golf was Jim's favorite past time. Playing golf at Pebble Beach is a favorite memory. Jim and his beloved wife of 54 years loved family and traveling. He is survived by his very loving wife Millie, his two children (Linda and Bob), their spouses(Fred and Liz) and four grandchildren (Jim, Emily, Collin, and Ryan). He is also remembered by fellow actors, golf friends, and reunion buddies. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations to the American Cancer Society. Jim, You will be missed by so many.
