FLESNER, Jerry

Jerry Flesner, 66, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2002. He was born November 30, 1936, in southern Illinois. He moved to Phoenix with his bride, Barbara, to accept a teaching position at Christ Church Lutheran in 1961. He taught in the Scottsdale Public Schools for 30 years. In 1994, he retired from Tevan Elementary School. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara, his Sons Todd, Tim and Bret, five grandchildren, as well as his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Walter Flesner, brothers Ronald, Gary, Kent, and his sister Carol. He will be greatly missed by all who were touched by his care and generosity. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at Living Streams Church, 5811 North 20th Street. Family and friends may contribute to the Samaritan Fund of Living Streams Church in Jerry's memory. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc.
