LAY, Martha Alice (Goldie)


Martha Alice (Goldie) Lay, 92, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2002. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Martha was a teacher for many years in the Douglas, Arizona school system. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and a dear friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Byron Lay, and is survived by her sister, Eunice Dayton of London, Texas; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vernon and Vicky Lay of Kingsville Texas; her five children: Thomas, William (Cheryl), Charles Barry, Deborah Anne Hilcove (Dr. Gabriel Hilkovitz), and Amanda Lay Brenden (Dr. Lloyd Brenden); eleven grandchildren: Geoffery, Kristin, Mark, Brittney (John) Clark, Rebecca Redman, Barry, Cindy (Buddy) Lindblom, Suzy (Danl) Williams, Michael Hilcove, Andrea Hilkovitz, and Sarah (Ryan) Smith; nine great-grandchildren: Aubrey Ollivares, Adrianne Ollivares, Andrew Clark, Dylan Redman, Chloe Redman, Gabe Lindblom, Daniel Lindblom, Monique Williams, and Jordan Williams; and one great-great-grandchild, Ricky Ordonez; and many nieces & nephews. May her memory serve us always as a blessing. Visitation Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Mariposa Funeral care Chapel, 400 S. Power Rd, Mesa, Arizona.
