The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 20, 2003 Austin Lyle Barnes, 61, of Phoenix, passed away April 18, 2003. He was born July 9, 1941 in Arco, Idaho. He is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Alfred and his sister Lou Jean. He is survived by his eternal companion Wilma, 8 devoted children, 16 grandchildren, and his 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He served the country that he loved in the U.S. Air Force from May 1961 to May 1967. He also served his Heavenly Father as Elders Quorum President, High Priest group leader, Ward Mission leader, and a stake missionary. Visitations are Tues. April 22, 6 to 8pm at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ and 10:00am, prior to service at the Church. Services are Wed., April 23, at 11pm in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Deer Valley Stake Center, 2939 W. Rose Garden Ln., Phoenix, AZ.
