Reuben L. Berry, 75 of Sun City, Arizona.
Visitation services will be held at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, April 21, 2003, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
Mr. Berry died on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at Sun Health Hospice, Peoria, Arizona. He was born September 17, 1927 in Elsberry, Missouri to Willie P. Berry and Lyda E. Hawkins.
He married Edna Mae Chandler on November 13, 1948. She preceded him in death on January 22, 1998. Mr. Berry served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.2. He retired from the Phoenix Police Department in June 1979 as detective, and retired in July 1992 as Deputy Chief of the Office of Special Investigations for The Arizona Department of Transportation.
Mr. Berry was a long time member of The American Legion Lodge #37, Elks Club #791, Copperstate Mustang Club, and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #2.
Survivors include son: Jack Berry of Prescott, Arizona, daughter: Mickie Berry of Phoenix, Arizona, 4 grandchildren: Danny Greco, Lauren Greco, James Berry, Kristine Berry, and great grandson: Taylor Berry.
