The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 20, 2003 Earl J. Brokaw, 83, a long time resident of Arizona, died April 17th after a brief illness. He was born in Flushing, Ohio, and moved to Arizona in 1957, where he owned several auto parts stores. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, daughter, Dianne (Robert) Jarrett of Tempe; step-son Gary (Fatha) Lineweaver of Farmington, New Mexico; step-daughter Peggy Olin of Scottsdale; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren & two step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Bingham). He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific area & was a member of VFW Post #720. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2003 from 6:00-8:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, & funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23 at 10am at Green Acres Chapel of Light.
