The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 20, 2003 Anna (Cimino) Daddona, 97, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at John C. Lincoln Hospital. She was born in Sicily, Italy on April 16, 1906 the daughter of Pasquale and Maeddalena (Praia) Cimino. Anna met and later married the love of her life Leonard Daddona, Sr., on October 2, 1923 he later became a well known city contractor. She was employed at Century Brass in Waterbury, CT until her retirement in 1967. Anna lived 58 years in Waterbury then moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1970. She enjoyed crocheting and will be well remembered for her home made bread and pasta's. Anna was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Phoenix. She is survived by her son Leonard of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Madeline) Mangene of Wolcott, CT. Anna is also survived by a brother Jack Cimino of Peoria, AZ, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Margaret) Manzo. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 22nd from 6 PM to 8 PM with the Rosary at 7 PM at Hansen Mortuary, 6500 East Bell Road in Phoenix. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Phoenix, AZ with burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.
