Courtesy of Pat Wilson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, April 24, 2003 Denise Yvette Jackel was born in Los Angeles to Houston and Dorothy Jones. Denise graduated in 1971 from Chino High School, and joined the Army, where she had quite the adventure. She had her first child, Stephanie Hart on July 21, 1979. On Feb. 28, 1982, she had her son, Brian Morgan. They were truly her diamonds, and her pearls. She met and married her beloved Fred Jackel, and created a heavenly yard, full of natures most beautiful art works. Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Hastings, and her brother, John B. Hastings. Denise leaves behind her husband, Fred Jackel, her son, Brian Morgan of Glendale, and her daughter Stephanie Hart of Clairmont, CA. She leaves her twin Deidra, and her husband Christopher Szymanski of Tucson; her sister, Rebecca Corder of Pensacola, FL.; her nieces, Michelle Corder, U.S. Army and Sharon Hicks of Pensacola, FL; her nieces, Denise and Elise Wiggins of St. Petersburg, FL. and their sons Trevor and Tristan; nephews, Eric Jones, his wife, Jenny, and their daughter Zoe of Chino Hills, CA, and Keith Szymanski of Tucson. Denise was truly the sunshine of our home. The Angels came to take our Denise home to God's paradise, on April 11, 2003, in a small west Texas town, while she was on her way home to us. She loved her country, her family, and her friends. We all loved her dearly. A special remembrance for her dear Aunt Opal, and her special Uncle "Bunny" of Pensacola, FL.
