Nancy Casebier, 78, of Cottonwood and former longtime resident of Flagstaff, died Feb. 11, 2010, in Sedona.
Mrs. Casebier was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Hutchinson, Kan., the daughter of Chet and Maxine Calvert. She was a graduate of Topeka High School. She worked as a realtor in Flagstaff. Previously, she worked for Morton/Thiokol during the Apollo program. While in Cottonwood, she volunteered at the Verde Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Casebier enjoyed playing pool and was a very competitive tennis player. She will be remembered as the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in the whole world.
Her husband, Cecil Casebier, and her identical twin sister, Patsy Almlof, preceded her in death.
She leaves a son, Michael Casebier (Michia) of Avondale; daughters Denise Casebier of Cottonwood and Jill Stottlemyre (Jimmy) of Flagstaff; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private family services wil be held.
