The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, AZ ~ 12/31/2002 Annabelle Thompson, 59, died Dec. 21, 2002 in Rough Rock. She was born Aug. 14, 1943 in San Diego, California to Myrtle and Clayton Cox. She was a teacher for the local school in Rough Rock. Annabelle is survived by her loving family, husband, Fred Thompson; son, Jerrydon Thompson of Subleh, Kansas; mother, Myrtle Cox of Quemado, New Mexico; brother, Harlie Cox of Fay wood, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her father Clayton Cox. Services for Annabelle were held Saturday, Dec. 28 in Quemado, New Mexico at the Quemado School. Internment will be at the Cox Ranch in Quemado. Contributions can be given to Boy Ranch of New Mexico. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jewkes Mortuary of Springerville.
