01/03/2003 Thora Hale Rothlisberger Pearce, 79, died Dec. 28, 2002. Thora was born to Michael and Martha Hale May 26, 1913 in Eagar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Rothlisberger; one son, Morris; three daughters, Anna, Charlotte and Cherie; considered family Robert Rabe. She is survived by her brother Delbert Hale of Mesa; sister Merla Clayton and Glenna Burk of Apache Junction, children, Barbara and Bill Neff of Shumway, James and Vera Rothlisberger of Thatcher, Randel Rothlisberger of Phoenix, Cheryl and Don McBride of Carefree, and Charma and Gordon Green of Snowflake; 26 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Mountain View Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3601 E. Shea Blvd. A short memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 2 in Eagar. Meldrum Mortuary of Mesa is handling arrangements.
