The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/10/2003 Sonia Ann "Smoochie" Edwards Sonia was born in Whiteriver. She is survived by her parents, Alan and Orlena Edwards; three sisters, Marissa, Annalisa and Inette Edwards; three brothers, Ronald, Thomas and Marcus Edwards; Godparents, Bruce and Sherry Ludeke; four aunts, Marilyn Goseyun, Pearllinda Caddo, Cynthia May and Sandy Edwards; six uncles, Julius May, Jerry May, Jr., Abel May, Titus May, Salvadore May and Antoine Edwards; and grandparents, Jerry May, Matilda P. May and Alan Edwards, Sr. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bessie Edwards. A wake will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 in Cibecue. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Cottonwood Gym in Cibecue with burial in the family plot in Upper Cibecue. Owens Mortuary of Show Low is handling the arrangements.
