Nora Mae Geigle
She was born in Polo, Illinois and lived most of her life in Aurora, Colorado. She taught school for two years in Illinois after completing college there. She then worked in a department store as a sales clerk for many years. At the time she retired she was the store manager. After wintering in Yuma for several years she made her permanent home there.
Being in her later years, she went to live with her daughter Janice in Biloxie, Mississippi, for a time and then came to Snowflake 18 months ago to live with her daughter Louise. Nora was an active member of the Rebecca Lodge in Kremmling, Colorado for many years. She grew up in the Church of the Brethren in Illinois. She attended the Living Faith Christian Center in Snowflake with her daughter.
Mrs. Geigle is survived by one son, Allen Geigle of Grand Junction, Colorado; two daughters, Janice Knudsen of Palm Harbor, Florida and Louise Fierro of Snowflake; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later time. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
