BLUMLEIN, Jack Ray


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona February 5, 2003 Jack Ray Blumlein Mr. Blumlein was born in Winslow Sept. 20, 1932, grew up and attended school there. He worked on cattle ranches and was involved in rodeos in his younger years. He served an apprenticeship with the Santa Fe Railroad and worked as a Machinist for them. He worked for Boeing Aircraft, the Panama Canal Company and retired from SRP in 1986. Upon retiring from SRP, he ran his own vending business for twelve years. He loved gardening, and wood working. He was a past member of the Elks and IBEW. He is survived by his wife, Madelon of Concho; three sons, Bill Blumlein of Aurora, Oregon, Byron Castellani of Yerington, Nevada, Shayne Castellani of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Kathy Pearson of Canby, Oregon and Sharyn Parrillo of Yerington, Nevada; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Jerry and Shirley Blumlein and Jim and Kay Blumlein; as well as ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Episcopal Church of our Savior in Show Low with Pastor James Porter and Pastor Kevin Weaver officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low.
