HALLMAN, Charles


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 11, 1993 Charles Hallman of Wickenburg died Sunday, August 1, 1993, at Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Phoenix. He was 77. Mr. Hallman was born August 5, 1915 in Revere, Massachusetts. He attended college at Cambridge, Mass. and had lived in Wickenburg for 37 years. He had served in the Army Air Force for 12 years, participating in the Burma and China theaters during World War II and later flying the Berlin Airlift. After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Hallman was a pilot for Western Airlines. In Wickenburg he was in the restaurant and trailer park business. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughters Debbie Laxton and Lisa Mansur; four grandchildren, Jason Mansur, David Laxton, Jenea Bishop and Shelly Mansur and a great-grandson Brandon Laxton. Family services and interment were held Friday, August 6, 1993, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek and were conducted by the V. F. W. All arrangements were handled through the Veterans Administration of Phoenix.
