The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 22, 1993. Lillie R. Slatten of Wickenburg died Sept. 17, 1993, at her home in Wickenburg. She was 76. She was born April 4, 1917, in Pleasant, Iowa, and had lived in Arizona for 33 years. Mrs. Slatten was a professional swimmer and had performed for the Billy Rose Aquacade at the New York State Fair in 1936. She was a show girl on Broadway for many years and had been a manager of the concessions in the Stork Club also. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clarence; a sister Tressie Williams of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation services have been held with private family disposition. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
