JONES, Lowell

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 1, 1993. Lowell Jones of Wickenburg died on Wednesday, August 25, 1993, in Wickenburg. He was 81 years old. Mr. Jones was born October 4, 1911, in Brookville, Pennsylvania. He had lived in Arizona for 20 years, coming here from Pennsylvania. Mr. Jones is survived by Lois, his wife of 53 years; two sons, Les Jones of Conifer, Colorado, and Greg Jones of Priest River, Idaho; a brother, C. Murray Jones of Phoenix and a sister, Helen Moore of Aiken, South Carolina. Mr. Jones was a credit manager for PPG Industries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Upon his retirement, he and Lois moved to Arizona, where they lived in Tucson for five years and Prescott for another five years, after which they settled in Wickenburg. Memorial services and gathering of remembrance was held on Sunday, Aug. 29, 1993, at 12:30 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg. Pastor Ed Wessling presided. All arrangements were made by Frey Funeral Home.
