TYLER, Inez

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 20, 1983 Inez Tyler passed away Sept. 28 in Duluth, Minn. She was born March 17 in Duluth. She and her husband, Joseph moved to Wickenburg in 1950. They jointly operated the Center Store in Wickenburg from 1952 to 1956. Later they moved to Chandler where she taught English in the Chandler school system. Tyler received her master’s degree at Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff and did her doctorial studies at Arizona State University, in Phoenix. She wrote and published several short stories for children. Her hobbies included ceramics. Private interment was in Wickenburg Cemetery.
