POLLARD, Mary

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 22, 1983 Mrs. Mary Hedrick Pollard, 70, died Sept. 13 at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Rupert Harwell in Pleasant Garden, N.C. She was born Oct 31, 1912, in Cole Camp, Miss., to Robert W. Hedrick and Emily (Tiejan) Hedrick. She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood and the YWCA in Ottumwa, Iowa. In Wickenburg, she was president of the Library Board and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Lindenwood College and attended the University of Missouri where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Survivors include her husband, Frank M. Pollard; son, Robert M. Pollard, of Quincy, Ill.; daughter, Mrs. Ann Harwell, of Pleasant Garden, N.C.; one brother, Robert W. Hedrick Jr., of Jefferson City, Mo. and four grandchildren. Services were Sept 19 at 10 a.m. and interment was at Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum in Quincy, Ill. The family requests that any donations be made to the Wickenburg Hospital Building Fund. Arrangements were made by Hansen-Spear Funeral Home in Quincy, Ill.
