HOBBS, Edward W., Sr.

Edward W. Hobbs, Sr., age 80, of Glendale, AZ, passed away June 19, 2003. He was born on January 2, 1923 in Hillsboro, North Carolina.

Edward is survived by his daughters Marie Gormley and Ann Hobbs; sons Edward W. Hobbs, Jr., Michael D. Hobbs and John L. Hobbs; sisters Aura, Theresa, Simone; brother Chanel; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Constance E. Hobbs of 58 years and his son Steven W. Hobbs.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Monday, June 23, 2003 with the Rosary beginning at 7pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, where the Mass will be Celebrated at 8:30am, Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Avondale, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale, AZ.
