Russell L. Huntsperger died Sept. 17 in Beverly Manor Nursing Home, Sun City at the age of 94.
He was born Oct. 2, 1888 in Canada. His family moved to the United States when he was five years old. Raised on a farm in Northern Minnesota, he became a farmer until his retirement. At one time he was employed by the Huber Thrashing machine Company as a farm machinery dealer.
He had lived in Arizona for six years, moving to Cactus Ranch Trailer Park in Morristown with his wife upon his retirement.
Survivors include four sons: Robert, of Youngtown; Ralph, of Wichita, Kan.; Merton, of Leavenworth, Wash. and Daniel, of Minneapolis, Minn.; three daughters; Marjorie Sprague, of Phoenix; Dorothy Van Der Veer, of North Brook, Ill. and Gladys Entgelmeier, of West lake, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with Pastor Emerson Fyffe officiating.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
