YACHANIN, Marjorie (Peggy)

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 23, 1983 Marjorie (Peggy) Yachanin, 48, died June 21 in the Community Medical Center in Phoenix. She moved to Wickenburg 1976 from Barnardsville, N.J. Yachanin was an air Force Veteran and was a member of the Arizona Army National Guard. She belonged to the Hassayampa Citizens Band Radio Club and was known as “Jersey Transplant” by her CB friends. Yachanin is survived by one son, Thomas P. Yachanin, three sisters, Barbara McDonald of Wickenburg, Patricia Mercurio and Joan Anklin of Bernardsville; seven nieces and four nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being made for a memorial service in Wickenburg. Services are being handled through the Wickenburg Funeral Home and times will be available through their office.
