Pearl Mabel Foster, of Tempe passed away Nov. 30 in her residence at the age of 81.
Born in Graham County, Ariz., April 5, 1902.
Foster was the daughter of a pioneer mining family. She lived with her family at Vulture Mine then in Wickenburg for many years. In 1962 she moved to Tempe.
Foster was the widow of Rev. Clyde Foster who died in December 1973 and was a member of the Church on Mill'; First Southern Baptist in Tempe.
Survivors include three daughters; Jeanette Bingham, of Tempe; Melba Guin, of Fairbanks, Ala. and Mary Ruth Sherman, of California; one son, Richard Foster, of Washington; four brothers; Charlie and Chester Davis, both of Wickenburg; Donald Davis of Cornville and Percy Davis, of Oregon; four sister; Annie Goble and Alvy Kirby both of Wickenburg; Myrtle Mellot, of Oregon and Mary Ellen Basham, of New Mexico; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 3, 10 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Tempe. Graveside was 2:30 p.m. at the Wickenburg cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Tempe Mortuary in Tempe.
