Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 9, 1983 Cullie C. Merchant passed away June 3, 1983, at his residence in Wickenburg. 117 N. Adams. St. Mr. Merchant was 78 years of age. He had lived in Arizona for 54 years, the last three in Wickenburg. He worked most of his life as a school teacher. He taught school in the Phoenix area and served as principal at Murphy School No.3 in the Murphy School District. Mr. Merchant is survived by his wife, Dorothy G. Merchant; two sisters, Eva Mae Merchant of San Bernadino, Calif. and Evelyn merchant of Beverly Hills, Calif. Mr. Merchant was cremated; no formal services will be conducted. Arrangements were conducted by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
