Nell M. Smith, who had been a resident of Wenden, died on Jan. 15.  She was 68.

She was born in Odessa, Texas and lived in Arizona for a total of 15 years.

She is survived by many friends and was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, who died in 1975.

Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery followed a direct cremation.
