Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, May 7, 1948 HOLLETTE (HOWLETT) TAKES HIS LIFE WITH SHOTGUN AT HOME IN PEEPLE'S VALLEY WEDNESDAY YARNELL-A coroner's jury in the justice court of Howard Marine here Wednesday evening, rendered a verdict that James M. Hollette, resident of Peeple's Valley "had come to his death by self-inflicted gunshot wounds," it was reported to The SUN by Deputy Sheriff C. Scott. Hollette ended his life with a shotgun about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. He had resided in this community for the past several years and is survived by the widow and several children, according to local reports. The body was taken to Casa Grande for funeral services and burial.
