Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, June 11, 1948 INJURIES FATAL TO ELDERLY WOMAN AT COMMUNITY HOSPITAL The body of Mrs Eva Irene Ferry, age 82, left Wickenburg Wednesday for Creston, Iowa, where funeral services and burial will take place. She passed away at 11:30 p. m. June 6, at Community Hospital here, from injuries received in an automobile accident 32 miles west of Wickenburg June 1. Her husband, Louis S. Fery, who was also hospitalized after the accident, was discharged Tuesday and left by train for the Coast. Taken ill while enroute he was removed from the train at San Bernardino, Calif., and placed in a hospital there. The accident which took the life of Mrs Ferry occurred when the Ferry car blew a tire, struck a bridge and turned over. Mrs Ferry's injuries included a factured left hip and a deep scalp wound.
