Lola Emogene Harman, 100, of Scottsdale died Nov. 26, 2002 in Scottsdale. Born Sept. 13, 1902 in Meadville, Missouri she lived most of her life in Missouri. Preceded in death by her husband George in 1977, she moved to Scottsdale 31 years ago to be near her daughter. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist church, active in Gashland United Methodist Church in Kansas City, MO and for 30 years was a member of the Scottsdale United Methodist Church and the Hannah Circle Quilters in Scottsdale. Lola was also a member of Barry Chapter #369 Order of the Eastern Star in Kansas City and the Charles Trumbel Hayden Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution in Tempe, AZ. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Turner, of Scottsdale, AZ and one brother William K. Ward of Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside services Monday December 2, 2002 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 8521 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO. Messinger Indian School Mortuary assisted with local arrangements.
