CHEEVER, Marvin Ralph

Marvin Ralph Cheever, age 77, passed away Nov 25, 2002 in Glendale, AZ. He was born April 11, 1925 in Toronto, KS to George F. & Josie L. (Hayes) Cheever, served his country as a Coxwain in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and retired as a maintenance man for the Phoenix Union High School System in 1989. Preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Leona; daughters, Susan Wielins, Christina Davis & Carol Johnson; sons, Norman & David Cheever; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Harley Cheever. Visitation and Funeral Service Friday, November 29, 2002 at Chapel of the Chimes 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ. Graveside Service Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
