The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, April 21, 2003 Terry D. Britt, 37, went home to see Jesus, Pa, Grandma, and Grandpa B., on April 19, 2003. He will be so missed by his Mom and Dad, Roger and Karen Britt and his sisters and brothers in law, Tami and Daren Sandbank and Clay and Tricia Bixler and his nieces and nephews, Heather, Joshua, Patty Sandbank and Chance and Tatum Bixler. He also leaves his Ma Ma, M.V. Evans, and aunts and uncles, Kenny and Rachel Britt, Mary Kay and Bob Proctor, George and Norma Wolfe, and his cousins. Terry was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 22, 1966 and moved with his family to Arizona at age 3 for his health. He, being afflicted his whole life with Downs Syndrome, received his H.S. diploma, worked for Gompers in Phoenix and ARC in Chandler the past 4 years. He was always proud of his work and would not miss even if he was ill. He loved Jesus and always wanted to know when it would be "his turn" to go and live in Heaven with Jesus and Pa, and grandma and grandpa B. He had often prayed for Jesus to live in his heart and be his Savior. Since he became ill in January, he has talked very much about seeing angels, and telling us that he is going to see Jesus his Pa, Grandma and Grandpa B. Everyone loved Terry very much and he loved "everyone". He suffered much in the past 4 months, spending 2 months of his time in the hospital, we Praise God for always being with Terry and even though we will all miss him, we are happy for him to finally get to go and live with Jesus and his grandparents. There will be a Visitation Tuesday, April 22 at 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and a Funeral/Worship Service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 23 at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ., Phone# 480-945-2654.
