CHAPMAN, Fredrick Morey, (Dr.)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, April 21, 2003 Dr. Frederick Morey Chapman of 1441 Leisure World suddenly passed away on Friday, April 18, 2003. Born on August 10, 1923 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Fred lived most of his life there. He was a University of Minnesota professor in the College of Education. During summers, he directed youth camps in northern Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, LaVerne Resk Chapman and his wife of 10 years, Sarah Lussow Chapman. He is survived by his son, Craig Chapman of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Carol Chapman Cesaro (Joe) of Austin, Texas; and 2 grandchildren. Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery in St Paul, Minnesota and a gathering of family and friends will be held in Mesa, Arizona. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
