MOSIER, Robert Lee


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, April 21, 2003 Robert Lee Mosier, 86, born Oct 2, 1916 in Evansville, Ind. to Elmer & Ethel Mosier, went home April 15, 2003 in Fountain Hills, AZ. He had moved to Denver, CO. when he was about 4 years old due to his mother's health. Robert attended North High School in Denver, Radar School in Philadelphia during World War II and worked at Lowry Field-civilian radar installation repairs, etc. After the war he worked in the Rockmont College Book Store and became interested in publishing Sunday School curriculum. He started Baptist Publications which grew to become Accent Publications & Books. He was among several publishers who helped form Evangelical Christian Publishers Assoc., now a large worldwide organization. He is survived by his wife Lyda of 62 years; one daughter, Janelle & two grandsons & three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at 11:00a.m. at Scottsdale Bible Church, 7901 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale.
