Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Feb 17th, 2010 Socorro H. Acosta, 82 Lifetime Arizona resident Socorro H. Acosta, 82, of Claypool, Ariz., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. She was born in Superior, Ariz. on Jan. 28, 1928, the daughter of Manuel and Sarah Hernandez. A member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Socorro loved cooking for all her family. She always put everyone before herself. Family was very important to Socorro; she enjoyed all of her grandchildren and loved all her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her husband, Estevan Acosta, preceded her in death on April 7, 1997. Socorro H. Acosta leaves behind in loving memory: sons, Mike and wife Kim Acosta, of Mesa, Ariz., and Ernie and his wife Debbie Acosta, of Claypool, Ariz.; daughter, Rosie Pena, of Central Heights, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Derrik and Kimberly Acosta, of Mesa, Ariz., Dustin and Alexis Acosta, of Central Heights, Ariz., Tiffany Herrera, of Miami, Ariz., John and Bobby Pena, of Mesa, Ariz., Bernadette and Antonia Ramos, of Central Heights, Ariz., and Gabriel Steve and Yvette Acosta, of Claypool, Ariz.; and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami, Ariz. Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment at Mt. Breeze Memorial Gardens, Miami-Superior Highway, Miami, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Socorro Acosta were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services, 309 W.
